About the Film
In a dystopian near-future where the government controls who is allowed to become a father, four men are sent to a remote, state-sanctioned retreat in the California mountains to prove they’re fit for parenthood. When they arrive to find no instructor, no rules, and no clear evaluation process, paranoia, competition, and buried insecurities begin to surface. As the men test one another—and themselves—the retreat becomes a darkly comic psychological examination of masculinity, trauma, and what it really means to be a parent.
