The Cholesterol Code
One man’s health journey sparks a global investigation that could upend everything we think we know about cholesterol, low-carb diets and heart health.

About the Film

When engineer Dave Feldman reverses his pre-diabetes with a low-carb diet, he feels invincible—until a routine blood test reveals sky-high LDL cholesterol, putting him at odds with decades of medical orthodoxy. Torn between feeling the healthiest he’s ever been and warnings of catastrophic heart failure, Dave refuses to accept easy answers. What begins as a personal experiment quickly expands into a global investigation, challenging the entrenched narratives of Big Pharma, corporate-driven healthcare, and the mainstream science that shapes our beliefs.

The Cholesterol Code is more than a documentary—it’s a high-stakes David-versus-Goliath battle for truth. What if our fear of cholesterol has been driven by profit over science? What if low-carb and keto diets—dismissed and demonized—hold the key to reversing the global epidemic of chronic disease? Driven by curiosity and grounded in science, the film follows Dave and a team of researchers through a landmark research trial using high-resolution heart imaging. The results raise a daring question– have we been fighting the wrong enemy all along?

We are generally able to screen at most Venues, and add Venues to our network. Please email [email protected] with the info on the cinema, and we will reach out to them.
We generally are not able to move the expiration date because we need to give the theater time to book the screening, assign an auditorium, receive the content, etc. That being said, we can certainly move out the Event date which will automatically move the expiration date as well.
The tipping point is based on the amount it costs to rent out the theater for a screening. These rates are set by the theater, so we are generally not able to lower this number.
Yes, please email [email protected] and we can assist you with moving your screening to a new location.
Theaters generally do not like booking 2 screens for Gathr events on the same evening. If your Event is close to selling out, please email [email protected], and we will reach out to the theater in order to move to a larger auditorium to accommodate all of your guests.
