Arizona Community Birth Coalition aims to advance the health and wellbeing of childbearing families within our state. We strive to increase options for accessible, safe, evidence-informed, and compassionate pregnancy and postpartum care. We accomplish this through two primary methods. First, by advocating for informed decision-making in childbirth, and cultivating a supportive network that empowers family to make choices aligned with their values and preferences. Second, by advocating for safe midwifery care in the community birth setting. Through education, outreach, and community collaboration, we seek to enhance the overall health outcomes and satisfaction of individuals and families throughout the perinatal periods, contributing to a healthier and more informed community.
