Azania Salazar is a public education advocate and parent who is dedicated to strengthening public schools and ensuring every student has access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. As a former Pearland ISD educator, Azania brings firsthand classroom experience and a parent’s perspective to her advocacy. Azania is passionate about the power of public education and the role that libraries, educators, and access to information play in creating informed, engaged communities. She believes that meaningful civic engagement begins with informed communities and that every student deserves the freedom and opportunity to learn, question, explore, and discover.
