Four steps from idea to sold-out screenings.

When TheatricalRun opens, every campaign will follow the same demand-led arc — launch, activate, confirm, expand — on your timeline and your terms. The mechanics are already running through Gathr's TOD product today.

Lower risk. Real demand. Compounding momentum.

TheatricalRun turns the traditional release math upside down - from costly guesses to validated, data-backed market expansion.

01

Release without the risk

No blind bets on theater rentals. Screenings only confirm once a market crosses its attendance threshold.

02

Validate demand, city by city

Every request is a data point. Prove theatrical viability with real numbers before scaling - or before a distributor negotiation.

03

Mobilize the supporters you already have

Turn newsletter lists, social audiences, and partner networks into a coordinated ticket-selling engine.

04

Build momentum market by market

Confirmed cities become case studies for the next wave. Release pressure compounds instead of dissipating.

05

One flow, theater-ready

Bookings, ticketing, settlement, and reporting live in one system - compatible with a 3000+ cinema theater network across North America.

06

Convert audience energy into outcomes

Box office receipts, press hooks, and distributor leverage - all from the audience you already own.

Be among the first to self-serve a theatrical release.

TheatricalRun isn't open to the public yet. The waitlist is how we're shaping a focused first cohort — independent filmmakers, producers, and rights holders who want to plan a real theatrical run, not a one-off screening.

Join the waitlist for early access. Founder pricing and priority onboarding for the first cohort.

When does TheatricalRun open?

We're rolling out early access in waves to the waitlist. We'll reach out with onboarding details before public launch. If your release window is sooner, talk to Gathr's team about running a Theatrical on Demand campaign with us in the meantime.

Is this a new platform or part of Gathr?

TheatricalRun is Gathr's new self-serve campaign workspace, built on top of the same Theatrical on Demand infrastructure that has powered 612 campaigns and 1,840+ confirmed screenings to date. The engine is proven; direct filmmaker access is what's new.

What does early access include?

Waitlist members get first access when we open, founder pricing locked in, and priority onboarding. A smaller invited cohort works directly with our team to shape the product as it ships.

Do I need a finished film to join the waitlist?

No. You can sign up at any stage — in production, post, festival run, or already released. We use the stage info to plan outreach and to match the right cohort.

Will there be a free tier?

Yes. When we open, anyone will be able to onboard a film, generate a starter campaign, publish a campaign page, and run early proposed screenings at no cost. Waitlist members get founder pricing on the full campaign workspace.

Can my film be released in theaters before launch?

Yes — through Gathr's existing Theatrical on Demand service, run by our campaign team. Talk to us if you have a near-term release window.
