The Film

SURVIVOR MADE is a deeply human documentary that offers a rare glimpse into the everyday lives of six survivors building safety and joy for themselves and their children. From growing small businesses in Los Angeles to organizing for change in D.C., they’re doing whatever it takes to build a new future on their own terms and in community.

From Executive Producers Padma Lakshmi, Roxane Gay, Nava Mau, Debbie Millman, Alok Vaid-Menon, and Fawzia Mirza, SURVIVOR MADE is a film for survivors, by survivors – a reflection of what becomes possible when healing is supported, and survivors are resourced to thrive.
