Offerings

Learning to ride horses
In-Person,
2 hrs 30 mins

Guests will learn how to ride horses the right way - with kindness and praise. It's called "Natural horsemanship". They will be taught from the ground up starting with safety around horses, how to groom a horse, saddle a horse and then how to mount and ride using leg pressure and gentle hands. They will start in a 70 foot round pen and then graduate to riding in the arena. By the end of the 2 1/2 hour lesson they will know how to safely stop their horse, and turn their horse using leg pressure and how to sit right and use their legs correctly. WE DO NOT DO TRAIL RIDES - We give a very intense lesson on how to ride a horse the right way! Great for small groups, like church youth groups. Your instructor is Diane, who has a lifetime of experience (about 45 years) teaching natural horsemanship and training horses. We have never had less than a 5 star review. If you wish to have a lesson at a time other than shown please let us know and we'll try to accommodate you.
