Cori Grainger, co-star of award-winning film STEP, is a published researcher, motivational speaker, and advocate of leveraging tech for social good.
In 2016, I graduated as the Founding valedictorian of the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, where I co-starred in the award-winning documentary STEP. Little did I know, the journey ahead as a computer science major at the Johns Hopkins University would be the most challenging one yet! Navigating my career as a first-generation college student, intern, and corporate professional has equipped me with firsthand insights on the value of resilience, resourcefulness, curiosity, and creativity. Today, I operate at the intersection of technology and social impact, leading initiatives to empower marginalized communities on their transformative journeys from surviving to thriving.
