It All Began When They Said "No."
My pre-med advisor told me I wouldn't get into medical school and to pick another career. Well, long story short, I didn't pick another career. I knew I couldn't give up.
I applied to medical school with a 32nd percentile MCAT and 2.9 science GPA. Yikes!
I had an 8% chance of getting in, but I DID.
