Sheldon Shaw is a filmmaker and writer. In 2016, he created the feature-length documentary This Is For Toronto, which secured distribution through AMC Networks and Amazon Prime.
From 2020 to 2021, he directed and edited 24 episodes of Naija Wives of Toronto under his production company, Potential Films Inc. The series was distributed by Afroland TV, a streaming platform for Pan-African TV shows and movies, backed by Techstars and Comcast NBCUniversal.
Currently, Sheldon is co-producing a documentary with CBC about his late uncle, Michelle Ross, a renowned drag queen whose remarkable legacy was only uncovered by the family after his passing.
Most recently, he co-produced his first Virtual Reality experience and co-founded BeSound Studios, a creative venture focused on cutting-edge Virtual Reality solutions that transport you to immersive digital worlds.
