Starting just before sunrise, depending what time of year it is, we will meet & depart from Muizenberg's world famous "Surfers Corner", from there we will take a quick shortcut via the train tracks and make our way up to Pecks Valley hiking trail named after the Pecks Bro's We will be on the trail before you know it and go through a pretty cool entrance, on our way up towards Muizenberg peak, i will remind us to stop, turn around and look back at the incredible views of False Bay, Muizenberg town center and the Zandevlei estuary , on clear days you can see the snow capped Hottentots Holland Mountains from across the bay in winter. (we hike more even in winter) Once we have finished taking in some quality snaps from our camera's/phones/minds we will reach Muizenberg Peak ( 1hr.15mins)
