This class addresses basic requirements for building a safe and comfortable home for your hens. You'll learn the basic housing needs of backyard birds. Find out the essential components of a coop, construction materials to choose and avoid, and important construction tips, and see different coop styles. (Basic chicken-keeping class is a prerequisite.)
NOTE: This class was developed based on weather in the Chicago area, which has cold winters and hot summers.
