This month we'll talk CYANOTYPE! This process is the centerpiece of our next event, OUT OF THE BLUE, coming in April and May. Learn this easy printing technique ahead of our call to art!

These iron salts, when exposed to natural or artificial ultraviolet light, are reduced to their ferrous state, producing a high contrast blue image when oxidised. Oxidation is hastened by immersion in running water, which also washes away the unused iron salts.

At our meetup we'll do a quick demonstration of the technique and show you just how simple it can be - you can do it too! The possibliites are endless.
