Join us on Sunday May 22nd at 4pm for a very special and exclusive artist home/studio visit, talk and afternoon tea with Lola de Miguel.

We will start with a special afternoon artist’s tea, getting the chance to see where the art is made and learn more about how Lola work, while enjoying high tea catered by Tea & Sympathy.

Lola de Miguel Artist’s Statement:

“I use gestural application of color and free brush strokes, along with pouring and sometimes with my hands. It is a continuous rhythmic organization of color and movement to transmit emotion and passion. I submerge myself in an exquisite combination of color , texture and luminosity. I have no limitations in translating my emotive intent and vision into the canvas. I am in pursuit of that I feel is essential and larger than me.

For me art is a form of free expression. I am prepared to utilize my worldly experiences and knowledge that comes from different cultures and influences. I paint from my heart and soul.

Climate change, Nature, Human kind, The Universe, Equality and Diversity all play important roles in my art. I hope to inspire, heal and bring joy to humanity with my art. Art brings us together and helps us feel connected.”
