Kate Lingley is a documentary filmmaker specializing in Visual Research and Archival Production based in NYC

With over a decade of experience as an Archival Producer and Visual Researcher, projects Kate has worked on have premiered at Sundance, TIFF, DOC NYC, Tribeca, Hot Docs, IDFA, and aired on HBO, Netflix, Discovery, Channel 4, PBS, CBC, among others. She works closely with editors and directors to locate and license hard to find materials for documentary films, as well as advertisements, music videos, and museum exhibitions. Guided by an investigative sense for rare and special footage and images, her projects span a wide array of subjects including music, biography, natural history/science and current affairs. Kate has experience with productions in the US, Canada, UK, and Germany. She is a member of the Archival Producers Alliance, FOCAL International, and the Visual Researchers’ Society of Canada.
