BATTLEGROUND Discussion: How Roe Was Overturned
In-Person or Virtual,
1 hr

How has the anti-abortion movement been so effective at advancing their goals when they’re vastly outnumbered by the 7 in 10 Americans who support reproductive rights? This question compelled filmmaker Cynthia Lowen to go behind the scenes to investigate the tactics, goals and motivations of the anti-abortion movement, as well as those on the front lines of the fierce fight to maintain access. The result is the acclaimed documentary film BATTLEGROUND (Starz), which depicts the anti-abortion movement as never seen before, exposing how they ended 50 years of constitutional protections for abortion. In this urgently timely talk, Lowen discusses the takeaways from her film and how reproductive rights are intrinsically linked to the future of our democracy.

BATTLEGROUND Post-Screening Q&A
In-Person or Virtual,
45 mins

BATTLEGROUND sparks curiosity and dialogue in ways few films do. In this dynamic and compelling Q&A with filmmaker Cynthia Lowen, audiences go behind the scenes to the making of the film, and get all their questions answered.

FAQs

Can I book this Talent?
Yes! Booking Talent is easy. Start by selecting the Booking Request button under the profile photo. Next, fill in your name and email address and the details about what kind of event you’re planning. There’s also a place to add a personalized message, so you can provide any other useful information to the Talent about your Request. We recommend including information on who your audience will be and what the goal of your event is to make your request persuasive.
Can I book this Talent for a virtual appearance at my in-person event, or vice versa?
Yes! You can book them in any combination, but it’s up to each individual Talent if they would like to accept both in-person and virtual Requests. The best way to find out is to send them a Booking Request with a personalized message describing your upcoming Event, so they can make an informed decision about accepting your Request.
How much does it cost to book a Talent for my Event?
Each Talent sets their own fees. We recommend sending a Booking Request to the Talent to start the conversation about your upcoming Event.
What’s the difference between booking an Offering and sending a Booking Request?
An Offering is pre-set Event programming, such as a keynote address or a post-screening Q&A with a set price and duration. If a Talent has an Offering that fits your upcoming Event, you can book them for that Offering. If you don’t see an Offering that fits what you’re planning, or if a Talent has no Offerings, send them a Booking Request instead.

A Booking Request is for a personal appearance at your Event, such as a post-screening panel discussion, film festival industry panel, school assembly, corporate retreat/event, etc.
